RPLIDAR S1 is a 360° laser scanner with a typical angular resolution of 0.391°. Extremely compact and lightweight, it is a version that can be mounted on any outdoor autonomous device, or indoor mobile robots even very small. An ideal choice for all kinds of robotics applications.

The Slamtec RPLIDAR S1 laser scanner uses time-of-flight technology to take accurate distance measurements in all environments. With highly reflective objects, it can operate at a maximum range of 40 metres. Particularly resistant to ambient light, it will adapt to both indoor and outdoor environments. Its protective shell ensures a very stable performance, even when exposed to external interference and in an industrial setting. Finally, it uses low-power infrared light to secure the highest degree of safety for the human eye.

Wireless communication and compatibility

100% compatible with the SLAMTEC ecosystem, this 360° LiDAR will work with all the software and hardware interfaces produced by its manufacturer. This makes it easier to develop and program robotic solutions integrating the scanner.

To avoid the possibility of technical damage caused by numerous electrical connections, the RPLIDAR S1 range scanner also uses wireless data transmission and power technologies, as well as optical communication.
