Robotic gripper
Robotic grippers are mechanical or electromechanical devices that enable robots to grasp and manipulate objects. They are essential in many automated industrial processes, such as sorting, packaging, assembly, and material handling.
There are several types of robotic grippers, each suited to specific tasks:
- The most common grippers are the jaw-type grippers that use jaws to grasp objects.
- Vacuum grippers are used to grasp flat and smooth objects, such as sheets of paper or solar panels.
- Magnetic grippers are used to grasp ferromagnetic objects.
- Hook grippers are used to grasp irregular or bulky objects.
Robotic grippers are often equipped with sensors to detect objects' position, shape, and texture. Some grippers also have cameras to allow robots to see what they are grasping.
Robotic grippers are essential in enabling robots to work autonomously in complex and dynamic environments. They can be programmed to grasp objects of different sizes and shapes and can be used to perform repetitive or dangerous tasks for humans.
The xArm BIO gripper is aflexible collaborative gripper that adapts perfectly to your UFactory arms.
The xArm vacuum gripper is an electric gripper that adapts perfectly to your UFactory arms.
